JUANMA FURIO
Juanma Furio is a cyclist, sports educator, and a firm believer in sport as a tool for connecting with nature and the surrounding environment. His life has always been closely linked to competition and to academic training in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CAFYD), a technical foundation that allows him to understand movement and performance with precision and discipline.
With a high-level multidisciplinary sporting profile, Juanma has recently taken on some of the most demanding and prestigious endurance events on the planet. From the hostile and extreme terrain of the Cape Epic in South Africa (2026) and the legendary Titan Desert in Morocco, where he confirmed his veteran status in 2025 and 2026, to the speed of gravel racing at Utopía Gravel and the toughness of La Rioja Bike Race. For him, moving away from his comfort zone on two wheels is the only path to continued evolution.
As both an athlete and a vegan, Juanma redefines the rules of performance, proving that the highest levels of physical demand can coexist in perfect harmony with an ethical lifestyle and conscious consumption. For Juanma, every route is an exercise in consistency and self-improvement. His vision of sport is not limited to crossing the finish line, but rather to creating a positive impact on people and the planet, inspiring others to enjoy the journey with a conscious, sustainable, and active mindset.
D.Franklin Athletic’s philosophy is to create precise technology to master any terrain, and Juanma Furio is an athlete who performs at the highest level in the most extreme settings on the planet, while showing absolute respect for nature. We are proud to join forces with those who challenge the elements consciously.
Welcome to the team, Juanma!
